Where are you located?

We operate out of our home in Wetaskiwin, Alberta which is about an hour south-east of Edmonton, and an hour north-east of Red Deer. The address is not provided openly to avoid the confusion of an open store front, which is something we are not.

Anyone can make more money with a delivery fee. I don't want to pay that.

Unfortunately, the car does not run on air, apple juice or coffee beans. You are more than welcome to use your own gas and come pick up your order, but please make prior arrangements before doing so. The delivery fee is mandatory when delivery is made. This fee is in place to help cover gas fees and repairs as needed, since without a car there will be NO deliveries.

Can I pick up my order?

Absolutely. We do, however, need notice of this happening to ensure we are home. Please contact us before hand to make arrangements.

Can I see your animals if I pick up my order?

This will depend on the daily circumstances, based on time frames, schedules and whether I'm on crutches (again). Arrangements can be made in advance to ensure a tour can be offered.

What is your favorite animal that you own?

This changes daily, depending on who bites or scratches, eats or doesn't eat, makes a mess or is extra cute. Some days it's the dogs, other days it's Speedy and others it's my spider plant. I like to offer opportunities to everyone to be a favorite!

This is my first order. How does this work, and how do I order?

You can send in your order by emailing or calling (780-235-0224) or by using the PayPal checkout. Email or paypal is definitely the preferred methods of orders so that the order cannot be lost if I am not home. Orders need to be in by Saturday. Invoices will be emailed out on Sunday when I send in the orders to my supplier. Delivery will be the following Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on where you live.

Why do you need my phone number?

Sometimes things happen and email just doesn't cut it, like getting lost, checking an order made or customers forget that it is drop off day. If I show up and prior arrangements have not been made in the case someone is not home, I will need a way to get a hold of you.

What if I can't be home the day you deliver?

Other arrangements can be made. I can drop off at work, or if someone else is home they can take the packages. During warmer months I am also able to drop off in predetermined locations around the house, with payment left either in the mail box or in the same location as the drop off. I am flexible in this regard, but last minute changes (on the day of delivery) are very difficult to accomodate. Please ensure plans are in place before drop off.

If I show up to drop off an order and no one is home, I cannot contact you and prior arrangements have NOT been made, that week's order will have to be paid for, including the delivery, whether you pick it up or not. These things still need to be paid for, and as I ensure I have the bugs and items I need, I am not able to use any more. If you refuse payment, service will be stopped.

It's Sunday. Can I still place my order?

If you call me as soon as you realize you need to place your order, and I am still doing up invoices, I can add your order on. If it is later than that, I can try to add on your order but cannot guarantee it will come.
